Hello all - Final official week of practice announcements...although this will include some announcements about our post season events as well!! Please read all the way through, thank you!

1. Champs events - as Coach Jewels has said, those attending champs can pick their own events. The team is paying for all swimmers' events for championships! Swimmers can pick up to 3 individual events. Please go into Swimtopia and pick your swimmers events asap, you can also let it up to the coaches if you prefer, just send them a message. We do not have report times for champs yet, as soon as we do, we will update everyone. Attached is the current top 10 times for the season. These times are in YARDS...this may be confusing for new swimmer families but the champs pool is a yard pool and we've been swimming in meter pools all summer. Yard pools are slightly shorter therefore if you have swimmers on the top 10 list, your swimmers' times have been converted and will appear faster. This will be advantageous in my opinion for our swimmers as they have been training for a slightly longer distance and they'll be pleasantly surprised with their times and the ease of their races compared to what they are used to...hopefully!!! We are in need of timers for champs, please sign up to time if you are able.

2. Our end of season picnic is going to be on Sunday, August 2nd at 4:00pm. We will eat and do awards and if there's any time left after that the kids can go swim until the pool closes. We will provide Weis Party Pizzas for swimmers. Family members attending will be charged $2 each if planning to have pizza. Feel free to bring fruit, chips, desserts to share. Also please bring own place settings. Please rsvp. There will be a parent meeting following the picnic, please plan to stay for that if you are able.

3. The splash bash fundraiser is coming up as well. It is planned for Friday, August 7th from 6 to 8 pm with a rain date of Saturday, August 8th. Attached is the flyer for that if you are able to share it on social media or at a place around town, please do. We are looking for one final donation of items to help sell some concessions items and also for raffle baskets and volunteers. Our team has been amazing so far this season with all of the effort and donations for our home meets...let's make this is a truly fun event for our entire community and help raise money to keep our team going for next year!
